About the Walk
Immerse yourself in some of Italy’s most renowned architectural and external masterpieces. See Piazza Navona – with Bernini’s Four Rivers fountain and Borromini’s S. Agnese Church – while you try to imagine how artists took their inspiration, and still do today. Make a wish at the Trevi Fountain and remember to throw a coin behind you, so you’ll come back again! Climb the Spanish steps and see the recently restored Bernini’s Fountain, as you take in the panorama. Along the way, you’ll see ancient exteriors of Rome – such as the Pantheon, Emperor Hadrian’s temple, Emperor Augustus’s obelisk (the first clock of ancient Rome) and Emperor Marcus Aurelius’s column, where his ashes are interred. A mix of art and history to fill your mind and soul!
